Value Pass Card

New Hampshire is well known for its natural beauty. Its untouched forests, streams and lakes are quickly becoming a rare pleasure in this world. The amount of theme parks, hiking trails, and methods that one can enjoy this area abound. A great way to sample these attractions is offered by the The White Mountains Attractions Association (www.visitwhitemountains.com) in the form of a Value Pass Card. Each pass acts as two adult tickets to sixteen different attractions:

Attittash (www.attitash.com)-
Home of North America's longest Alpine Slide. A mile long ride down one of two tracks on a wheeled sled. This park also contains horseback riding, waterslides, and much more.

Cannon Mountain Aerial Tramway (www.connonmt.com)-
Site of the first passenger tramway in North America. C.M.A. Tramway transcends slopes for 4,080 feet. At the top you can dine at the cafeteria, enjoy walking paths and climb to the 360 degree observation deck. Part of the Franconia Notch State Park.

Clark's Trading Post (www.clarkstradingpost.com)-
This small park offers a bear show, circus, train ride and more. This year Clark's Trading Post celebrated their 60th 'Bear-thday'.

Conway Scenic Railroad-
The pass allows you to chose one of two seperate roadtrips. To travel from North Conway to Conway, or from North Conway to Bartlett. Enjoy a relaxing train ride while viewing the New Hampshire country side.

Flume Gorge (www.flumegorge.com)
This hiking trail takes you through the gorge- a great split in the granite rock at the base of Mt.flume. Along the path you will also discover Table Rock, the Sentinel Pine Bridge and Pool, Liberty Gorge, the Wolf Den, and much more. Part of thw Franconia Notch Park.

 Hobo Railroad (www.hoborr.com)-
A relaxing ride the Pemigewasset River. Enjoy a hobo lunch and a visit from Cho Cho the clown.

Loon Mountain (www.loonmtn.com)-
Enjoy a gondola skyride, glacial caves, nature trails, and Local artisans. But don't stop there. How about horseback rides, bungee trampoline, or the climbing wall.

Lost River Gorge and Boulder Caves (www.lostrivergorge.com)-
Welcome to Kinsman Notch between Mt.Moosilauke and Mt. Kinsman. Hike the Lower Gorge, Paradise Falls, Shadow Cave, Hall of Ships and the Sluice.

Mount Washington Auto Road (www.mtwashingtonautoroad.com)-
Mt. Washington is New England's highest peak- 6,288 feet high. Drive yourself or take the guided tour up this historical road with the weather changing as you ascend.

Mount Washington Cog Railway (www.thecog.com)-
This three hour round trip is full of unforettable sites. The mid-point is the top of Mt. Washington and its engine is a step back to 1869 ingenuity.

 Polar Caves Park (www.polarcaves.com)-
Whether you want to climb through the caves or take the detour around, you will enjoy the life and scenery of this rocky terrain.

Can't wait till December to think about Christmas. Dress your own gingerbread man or woman with sweet icing, feed the reindeer, or ride Santa's sliegh.

Six Gun City and Fort Splash (www.sixguncity.com)-
Welcome to the wild west theme park. Shows, horses, slides- enjoy the chance to be a cowboy or cowgirl for a day.

Story Land (www.storylandnh.com)-
Visit all your favorite childhood stories in this theme park for the young at heart. Ride the flying fish, Polar Coaster, or Bamboo Chutes. Watch the circus or visit Cinderella's Castle.

 Whale's Tale Water Park (www.whalestalewaterpark.net)-
Ride the waves at Willie's Wild Waves pool, circle the Eye of the storm, fly down the Plunge, and enjoy the thrills of several other water slides. When you need to rest go to Jonah's Escape and ride the lazy river.

Wildcat Mountain Gondola (www.skiwildcat.com)-
Ride to Wildcat's summit aboard a four passenger Gondola or ride the ZipRiper at 45 miles per hour.

Some of these attractions are great for children: Santa's Village, Story Land, or the Hobo Railroad. While many are geared to enjoy the natural beauty of the White Mountain's. The dollar value of the pass is 695. The cost $295.  With a savings of $400, the value pass gives you the opportunity to experience a touch of everything.
My husband and I bought two passes for the summer. This provides access to all sixteen attractions for the two of us, our daughter, and a friend. Taking along picnic lunches saves even more. The value pass has given us a chance to afford a wider range of attractions.
